EVENT: CUTS & CUPCAKES WITH ANNISA LIMARA

Annisa LiMara hosted her 2 year YouTube celebration and 10 year natural’versary at the Carol’s Daughter Mirror Salon on Saturday, October 24th. The event was very intimate and allowed attendees to get to know Annisa and her journey a little better.

Upon arrival at the salon, attendees were greeted by Sabrina of NaturalPartnersInCrime. Sabrina is an event host that helped organize and moderate the event. She checked attendees in, handed out gift bags upon entry, and stamped hands for a Carol’s Daughter event discount. Surprisingly, there were 2 gift bags upon arrival. They included the following:

After some mingling, snacking, and plenty of photo opps, Annisa called everyone’s attention to the center of the salon. Here, she and her stylist, Gianné, held a Q & A session for attendees, which were mostly comprised of hair questions and social media tips. They also described how their friendship blossomed, and Annisa talked about the various changes that she has made in her life (hair and some personal). For those of you that don’t know, Annisa is originally from Mississippi and she later moved to Maryland for a few months; New York is now her new home!

During the event, Annisa raffled off some goodie bags, which included a variety of products including Carol’s Daughter. A raffle winner also had the opportunity to sit in Gianné’s chair for a big chop or haircut service. The original winner wasn’t ready for the cut, so she passed her winning along to another attendee who received a tapered haircut.

Attendees snacked on cupcakes and sipped cider with fruit garnish, while mingling with familiar and new faces. The event was very intimate as it was a fairly small group, but the overall energy was great!
